I did the tweeter of AMT16BD at a short Horn (waveguide) and did some modifications with the crossover. The waveguide showed no advantage at on Axis response, but with the crossover I reached good linearity and great sound. The crossover works at 4 kHz and is a second order filter with 4,7UF and 0,15mH Inductance that improves linearity/SPL in the 6-8kHz range, but drops the Impedance at these frequencies down to 4Ohms. A further LCR Element reduces the peak in the 12 k-16 kHz range. Now I am happy to have a good result, the tweeter plays linear enough, very dynamic, without any hearable distortion and beyond 20 kHz.
